Thankfully, Senator Josh Hawley wasn’t standing for it and he absolutely EVISCERATED this far-left witness in a brand new viral clip.

Senator Josh Hawley went nuclear on a Democrat witness who defended Mahmud Khalil, a student on a U.S. visa accused of endorsing terrorism. Khalil, who led pro-Palestine rallies supporting Hamas, was recently deported after being accused of lying on his visa application and assaulting Jewish students at Columbia University.

Hawley dismantled the witness’s claim that removing Khalil was “McCarthyism,” emphasizing that U.S. immigration law clearly states that any noncitizen who endorses terrorist activity or commits fraud can be deported.

Hawley further highlighted that free speech protections do not apply to visa holders promoting violence.

The senator also criticized the witness for opposing investigations into universities fostering anti-Semitism, arguing that Jewish students are vulnerable because of individuals like Khalil.

Hawley didn’t hold back, calling the witness’s defense “insane” and stating that removing pro-Hamas supporters makes campuses safer, not more dangerous.

Hawley’s remarks resonated with many, as he contrasted the leniency shown to pro-Hamas rallies with the vilification of Trump supporters. He concluded by encouraging viewers to support Khalil’s deportation, making it clear that those who endorse terrorism have no place in America.
