Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is publicly torching President Donald Trump, accusing him of abandoning loyalty, lacking faith and dragging the country toward more war,  a stunning escalation from a lawmaker who once stood among his fiercest defenders.

In comments to the New York Times Magazine, Greene portrayed herself as a casualty of what she described as Trump’s one-sided brand of loyalty, saying the president demands allegiance but rarely returns it. The remarks mark a sharp turn for Greene, whose political rise was closely tied to Trump and the MAGA movement before their relationship collapsed this year.

Greene pointed to Trump’s remarks at the memorial service for slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, where he said, “He did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent. And I don’t want the best for them.”
